Ron Dickey of Axtell fame is well known in racing circles.
He has for years been at the center of all things involving horsepower
and making things go fast - really fast. Ron is also known for his
systematic and scientific approach in his quest for the ultimate power. |
| We were lucky enough to get Ron Dickey interested in our Land Speed
Record project, and Ron was for the first 2 years of Team Elves Racing
in charge of building the bottom end of the motor. He and Joe George
made sure that the motor held up to the rigors of Bonneville with
the least amount of power loss within the motor. |
