Everyone is anxiously waiting for the "go ahead". After the rider takes off, the rest of the team jumps into the van to drive out to pick up bike and rider.

On the way out to the end of the track the 1/4  mile and 1 mile times are announced from the timing booth over CB radios. As you can see from Richards grin it was a really good run: 156.067 MPH return run giving us a record of 157.284 MPH.
